Eurogamer has teamed up with Pokémon Global Link, a multiplayer feature that allows players to access the Pokémon Dream World, to offer players one of the original gangsters of the pocket monster kingdom.
Players with registered accounts for Global Link can pop the password PORYEUROGAMERNET into the PGL Promotions page, which will allow them to unlock the first gen Pokémon and access it the next time they use the Game Sync feature available for Black and White. However, the Global Link must first be activated via an item found relatively early in the game.
This special version of Porygon will come with the Hidden Ability "Analytic" as well as the moves "Tackle," "Conversion," "Psybeam" and "Sharpen."
The Global Trade Station has also launched, accessible via the Global Link. This allows players to observe trades as they occur around the world. Admittedly, this would have been kind of cool to have during the nostalgic days of Blue and Red.
