EA has put out a trailer for the next Battlefield 3 DLC, which promises to expand the experience with the introduction of new vehicles and some of the largest maps the series has ever seen.
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill sees the inclusion of five new combat vehicles, including self-propelled artillery, tanks, ATVs, and 20 potential upgrades and unlocks for both preexisting and new vehicles. For the first time in the series' history, players will be able to man an AC-130 gunship and rain death from above.
Focusing almost entirely on armored warfare, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill will include a new game mode called Tank Superiority which sees players fighting for the control of key territories on the map, with each key location filled with pieces of heavy equipment.
The trailer showcases two of the new maps which are making their way into the game, including the Alborz mountain range and a vast desert.
Players with Premium memberships will gain access to Armored Kill two weeks before everyone else. The DLC is set for release in September 2012 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
