Fans wanting to get their Mario fix on the Nintendo Wii U won't have long to wait as Nintendo has just announced that the game will be released alongside the console.
This new announcement was made to counter a previous comment [via Wii U Daily] that the game's release would be delayed until after the Wii U's release.
Speaking to GoNintendo, Nintendo representative Kat Ellis describes the initial comments as a mistake. Officially, the game will be released during the Holiday 2012 season as a launch title for the Nintendo Wii U console.
