Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman Star in Fan-Made “Love Letter to Frank Castle”

Above is Dirty Laundry, a very NSFW fan-made short film starring Thomas Jane (star of 2004's The Punisher) reprising his role as Frank Castle in much humbler circumstances.

The short, also featuring a cameo from Ron Perlman, depicts Frank Castle living out of a van, doing his laundry at a laundromat in a part of town terrorized by an unsavoury character. Castle, who has since become rather reserved and jaded, witnessess extreme (read: very disturbing) acts of violence perpetrated by the bad guy, until, well, you can watch what happens next.

Though the film may not be a major release, it has impressive production value and is admittedly pretty entertaining, if quite dark.

Jane, who was enthusiastic about once again becoming Frank Castle, left a little message in the Youtube description, saying,

"I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.
