Square Enix London has revealed today that the voice over cast of Sleeping Dogs will be a star-studded one, featuring the voice talents of Will Yun Lee, Lucy Liu, Tom Wilkinson, Emma Stone and many others.
The announcement comes with a trailer showing us some of the voice over artists as they perform their lines in the game.
"Sleeping Dogs features over two hours of rich dialogue in a story inspired by some of Hong Kong's finest films," said Stephen van der Mescht, Executive Producer at United Front Games. "As huge fans of the genre we knew exactly who we wanted; we knew who could bring the script to life. The end result is fantastic."
Will Yun Lee will be playing the role of Wei Shen, a police officer sent deep undercover into a Hong Kong Triad. He will be supported by the likes of Tom Wilkinson, who plays his boss, and Edison Chen, who plays the role of his childhood friend Jackie Mah—a low level thug for the Triad.
Sleeping Dogs is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 14.
