While BioWare has tried to appease Mass Effect 3 fans with their Extended Cut free DLC, where exactly does the studio go from here? As it turns out, it's more content! In what can be considered bad or good news depending on your perspective, Mass Effect producer Mike Gamble has revealed that they're focusing on ME3 DLC.
Just to make that a bit clearer, Gamble means more single-player DLC. BioWare has been steadily offering free content for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer component since launch.
This fact was revealed at this year's Comic-Con where Gamble showed off an image for future Mass Effect 3 content (via Joystiq) during their panel.
Gamble states they "want to do more single-player DLC," but also admitted that more multiplayer content will be available "if people still play it."
So, would this aformentioned single-player DLC be about Shepard again or focus more on the other ME3 characters? Gamble reveals that "Mass Effect 3 is Shepard's story, so the single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3 will probably focus around Shepard."
Is this good news for you? Should BioWare leave well enough alone or is there more to Shepard's tale that fans want to see? Whatever it is, let's hope it doesn't focus on that damn "kid" — who agrees with me there?
