Ubisoft gives us the first look on The Expendables 2 Videogame. As expected, it's the game tie-in to the upcoming action ensemble flick of the same name.
While the game is a shooter, it's not a First-Person based affair. Instead, it will be a nod to the old-school shooters of yore. There seems to be a bit of Contra in it, too.
The game will star Barney, Gunner, Caesar and Yin Yang as they're hired to rescue a Chinese billionare who's been kidnapped. Needless to say, there's tons of shooting and explosions in it.
Give the trailer a watch to see for yourself.
Suprisingly, the game is looking kind of good, I admit. It might avoid the usual pitfalls of sucking that most game adaptations of movie fall into.
The Expendables 2 Videogame will be out on July 31 for the PSN, while the other versions (Xbox LIVE, PC) will drop the same date as the movie which is on August 17.
