Destroy All Humans! originally released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox back in 2005 from the now defunct development team Pandemic Studios. Overall, the reception for the video game was mostly positive, allowing the developers to continue on with the franchise with a sequel. Now, after a decade has passed, we are finally receiving a remastered edition of the game for PlayStation 4.
Noted by PlayStation Lifestyle, the remastered edition of the video game had appeared on the PlayStation Store but has since been taken down, leaving only a small selection of gamers to purchase the title.
Furthermore, other than ratings for the title being discovered online, there have been no announcements on the remastered title by THQ Nordic or Sony. This could soon change as the listing was already released once for the video game title.
Being that Destroy All Humans! is a remastered title rather than a port from the PlayStation 2, the video game will retail for $19.99 instead of the usual $9.99 for a non-remastered PlayStation 2 title. We’re certainly interested in seeing just how well the remastered does and if we could see its sequel receive a remastered as well. Perhaps with the success of both remastered titles, THQ Nordic may opt to work on the franchise with the third installment to Destroy All Humans!.
