Overwatch’s Halloween event is set to start soon, and leaks have surfaced ahead of its official launch.
The game’s latest content will include new skins for a few of the game’s heroes, including Mercy, Reaper, Roadhog and Junkrat, all of whom have Halloween-themed outfits. Roadhog looks like a gigantic Frankenstein’s Monster, Junkrat resembles a Mad Scientist, Mercy’s a witch, and Reaper appears to be one of the Headless Horsemen with a pumpkin for a head. These outfits were outed by Dark Horse Comics.
According to the game’s Taiwanese website, the update will launch on October 12 and features splash art from Roadhog.
The image has since been removed, but not before it flooded social media. There’s a good chance the new content launch today, given that Taiwan’s 12 hours ahead of the United States. The post says it’ll launch on October 12 at 3am—which is 11am PT, October 11.
