Bethesda and Arkane Studios have just released a new gameplay video for Dishonored 2, titled “Daring Escapes.” Watch as father and daughter duo Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin showcase some of the many (the word Bethesda used was “limitless”) creative combinations of their supernatural powers, weapons and gadgets to escape the Royal Conservatory, an early area in the game.
Videos like these showcase how players will be able to tailor the game to their own playstyle, offering a variety of defensive, evasive, and offensive options.
When the game launches later this year, players will be able to pick from playing either Corvo or Emily as they go up against Delilah, a mad witch armed with powerful black magic, who has seized the throne. Their adventures take them from Dunwall to Karnaca, a coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the Mark of the Outsider, Emily and Corvo have supernatural abilities that will allow them to alter the fate of the Empire.
Dishonored 2 releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 11, 2016. Those who pre-order the game will be able to play it a day ahead of release.
