Ubisoft has announced plans to release the Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition today. This version of the game will be exclusive to North America and Latin America, and is set for release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
In addition to the retail copy of the game, the Limited Edition contains a 9.44" Assassin statue featuring Connor poised to strike with a tomahawk and hidden blade. It also comes with a 28"x48" Assassin's Creed-inspired colonial flag and a 3"x3.25" metal belt buckle that works with just about any belt.
The Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition will cost $119.99 and will be available for purchase on the same day as the regular version. It can be pre-ordered right now from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart.
Although PC gamers will not have access to the Limited Edition, they can pick up the Assassin's Creed III Digital Deluxe Edition from various online retailers including UBIshop. This edition of the game includes George Washington's notebook revealing his "true story" during the revolution, three single-player missions that take places to Cozumel Island in search of Captain Kidd's lost treasure, two exclusive outfits and two additional weapons for use in the single player campaign, and two bonus characters in multiplayer: the Sharpshooter and Redcoat. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe edition will come with a selection of music tracks from the previous games.
Assassin's Creed III will be released on October 30.
