The new 1.0.3 patch may have fixed a good number of previously existing bugs, but it broke the Witch Doctor's Zombie Bears skill.
With the bug, zombie bears summoned by the player are unable to traverse a variety of terrain, and clip through the ground instead of hurting enemies. The zombies bears would also stop on tiny obstacles, rendering the skill useless.
Blizzard has heard your pleas and intends to post a fix in its upcoming 1.0.3a patch. Although there's no timeline for the patch's release, it'll be released a lot sooner than anything else they have planned.
That said, there's still no word on when Blizzard plans to address the usefulness of the Witch Doctor's other skills, which remain weak in higher difficulties.
