THQ has announced that those who pre-order Darksiders 2 online directly from shopTHQ will receive three content drops in addition to an exclusive set of in-game armor called the Maker's Armor and Scythe set.
Players will receive two DLC drops as part of THQ's planned Darksiders 2 Season Pass, allowing players who pick up the game from shopTHQ free access to the content once they become available.
Additionally, all pre-orders will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition of the game, which comes with the Argul's Tomb DLC—content which otherwise costs money. The Argul's Tomb DLC is set for release a month after Darksiders 2 comes out, with the remaining two DLCs in the following months.
Anyone who preorders the game shopTHQ will get free shipping, so it's not a bad deal if you were already planning to play it.
