Mega Man Soundtrack in an E-Tank

June 21, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Capcom has announced its plans to release the entire Mega Man soundtrack in the form of a nice E-Tank.

E-Capsule

Capcom is planning to release the ultimate Mega Man soundtrack to celebrate the series' upcoming 25th anniversary. Containing 10 CDs in all, the entire collection is being released in the form of an E-Tank, much like the ones you pick up in the Mega Man games.

The CDs are a compilation of all the music from both the NES and PlayStation games, from Mega Man 1 through 6. The remaining discs contain music from the SNES and Xbox Live Arcade games of Mega Man 7 to 10.

The soundtrack will be available in Japan on September 19. It's priced at a hefty ¥14,700 ($183.56).

No word on when it'll visit foreign shores. Cross your fingers for a release, or order it from Japan.
