THQ Reveals the Making of “Enter the Metro” Live-Action Short Film

June 21, 2012 by Alex Co

THQ has released the behind-the-scenes video in how they made the Enter the Metro live-action short flick.

If you still haven't seen THQ's rather impressive live-action short for 4A Games' Metro: Last Light, you're missing out. It's one very well-done film — and it gives hope that a videogame movie adaptation could work yet.

Give it a look here.

Now that we have that out of the way, THQ has released a video on how they made the short film. For reference, the film wasn't shot in the US, but in Kyiv Ukraine, and they had a cast of more than 150 people braving the sub-freezing temperatures to be part of this nuclear wasteland.

Hopefully, the game itself can match up to what we've seen so far, no? Of course, if the first game is any indication, FPS fans should be in good shape.

Metro: Last Light is scheduled to come out in 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The Wii U version has been confirmed and yanked, but we'll update you when more info on that becomes available.
