What we've seen of Assassin's Creed 3 has been quite impressive so far, I admit. But this is the first time we see the game's protagonist Connor stalking the streets of Boston.
Admittedly, the five-minute footage is not the best quality, but we'll take what we can get. We get to see Connor take out a British guard by using the tree he's on as a hangman's post. We also see a Connor glow for a bit when he's hiding or trying to blend in. Also of note, one guard's taken out within the game's environment and I'm hoping there's more of that in the final game.
Even in this grainy video, the game is really looking quite impressive. From the character animations, to how populated the city is, it seems to be a notch above from most sandbox games we're used to.
Assassin's Creed III will be out on October 30 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. There's also a Wii U version but that hasn't been dated yet, other than it will be out within the console's "launch window."
