Does Dishonored Justify Your $/hr Entertainment Valuation?

June 18, 2012

Dishonored will take 12 to 14 hours to finish, and twice as much for the explorers.

dishonored

Arkane Studios' co-creative directors, Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio took to the Bethblog this weekend to answer some important fan questions. One of those revealed the length of the game which a "certain few" really care about. The game will last 12 to 14 hours for direct players and double that for those who'd like to explore every corner of Dunwall.

The Q/A also revealed that the game will offer six major active powers & four enhancements, a host of small supernatural perks, in addition to weapons and gadgets. Players will not be able to acquire all of these in one playthrough which would give you even more reason to dive straight back into the game after the first playthrough.

So here's a classic argument in a time where single player games strive to justify their value, what do you prefer the length of the path or the experience it offers?
