Feel like you haven’t done enough for charity lately? Are you in Europe? If so, fire up your Xbox and get ready for a 100m dash on Xbox Kinect Sports to set a Guinness World Record for the most people running in an online race.
You might be wondering, how does setting a record have anything to do with raising money for charity? Microsoft has that covered. For every person that takes part in the momentous event, Microsoft will donate to their charity partner, Right to Play. To support the overall cause, Xbox Live Gold will also be free for the duration of the weekend, so there isn’t a single excuse to keep you from helping out.
Microsoft announced that the Kaiser Chiefs are the official ambassadors of the Xbox Summer Stadium sports and entertainment campaign, running from June 15 to August 21. This collective event supports the Right to Play charity by encouraging gamers to donate. At the conclusion of the Summer Stadium campaign, the Kaiser Chiefs will perform an exclusive show on Xbox Live via the MUZU.TV app.
The donation site is live today, so be sure to head on over and support a good cause!
