Civilization 5 Integrated with Steam Workshop

June 15, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Civilization 5 is getting integrated with Steam Workshop, allowing players to share their creations.

Civilization 5 Gods and Kings

Civilization 5 joins the ranks of Skyrim with its integration into the Steam Workshop.

This newly integrated feature allows players to browse, comment, and subscribe to Civilization 5 mods created by others, and modders can upload their own customizations to the workshop to share. The Steam Workshop players keep track of specific mods and keep up to date with their creators' works.

"Civilization 5 is a fantastic addition to the Steam Workshop. We hope that the Steam Workshop will provide another avenue for the many talented Civ 5 mod creators to have their work seen and played by millions of Civ 5 fans," said Steam's Jason Holtman.

The Civilization 5: Gods & Kings expansion pack launches on 19th June. It will be available at retail and through digital distribution platforms like Steam.
