Black Mesa Developers Shed Silence, Release New Screenshots

June 11, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

The developers of the Black Mesa mod have shed their silence to begin a new ‘social media campaign’ for the game.

There may be hope after all for the release of Black Mesa this year, as its developers have posted a host of screenshots for the Half-Life 2 mod which has been in development for close to an eternity.

According to the developers at Black Mesa, the release of these eight screenshots is to kick off the team's social media campaign towards the mod's first release.

"You can expect more updates from us in the near future," reads the announcement. "Today we are sharing this fantastic bunch of screenshots that really gives you the first glimpse into the gameplay of Black Mesa. This is just the beginning. We have more in store for you in the near future! Hold onto your lab coats!"

Well, I'm gripping onto mine and I'm afraid it's going to tear unless they release more screenshots—and soon.
