PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is coming to Vita, which is pretty exciting news. Equally exciting is the fact that Nathan Drake (who didn't expect it?) and Big Daddy (wait, what?) are joining the roster of fighters. And while Big Daddy probably wouldn't top the list of third party characters we'd like to see in the Battle Royale, the possibilities it spawns are truly inspiring and I just about feel Sony could licence any character short of Master Chief at this point. It's made the wait for new announcements all the more exciting.
The above trailer was shown, in part, at the Sony conference last night, but without the bits showing off Big Daddy and Nathan Drake. It shows how iconic these characters have become that you can probably imagine their fighting styles straight off the bat and really, there aren't any surprises in the video. What are the character's supers like? Will one of the levels take us to see the horror of Rapture?
For now, just enjoy the trailer and prep yourself for months of exciting announcements from the teams at Sony and Super Bot.
