Crytek just showed off Crysis 3 at the recently-concluded EA press conference and it looks really, really good. Mind you, I'm pretty certain this is from a PC build, so if you buy it for your Xbox 360 and PS3, don't bitch when it's not as pretty as the one you see below.
The game seems to go back to its roots. Instead of showing you decimated streets and whatnot, it's now back to showcasing foliage and other plant life. You won't get to appreciate it for long, however, as the game's protagonist uses his new bow to take out his foes in style.
Crysis 3 touts itself as being the premier sandbox shooter of 2013. Crytek has revealed that the game will make use of "adaptive warfare," and will showcase seven distinct areas; from high-rise canyons and deadly swamps, to urban rainforests, the game claims you can play it the way you want it.

Also of note, Crytek has revealed that the game will be out in February 2013. Yep, that's it. No exact release date was given but I'm assuming this release window is for all platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PS3)
