Third Editions is a French publisher that is dedicated to video games. The company was founded in 2015 by Nicolas Courcier and Mehdi El Kanafi, who are fans of both quality books and video games.
These beautiful hardcover books are packed with engaging and in-depth content about the lore of different game series. The goal of the Kickstarter is to translate these books into English from their original French.
The three books that are available are Zelda, Archive of a legendary saga, Dark Souls: Beyond Death, and The Legend of Final Fantasy VII.
Zelda. Archive of an legendary saga is presented in the structure of an ancient tome. The book chronicles every game of the series, from the first episode to the latest Hyrule Warriors 3DS, using deep analysis and reflection to decipher the whole universe.
Dark Souls. Beyond Death demystifies one of the most cryptic universes in the gaming industry. This publication not only narrates the success story of the franchise, but all describes its gameplay mechanics are specific lore across more than 300 pages, including characters, plots, and scenarios.
The Legend of Final Fantasy VII takes a look back at all the titles that help to forge the game’s mythology and also deciphers their content through thorough examination and original analysis.
The current Kickstarter goal is $111,988 and $10,560 USD has been raised thus far. The three books displayed in the photo above are the Kickstarter Edition of these books, which is limited to 2000 copies ad have a different cover than the regular edition.
