LucasArts, prolific developers behind the Star Wars: Force Unleashed series and many other Star Wars-related video games, have just announced Star Wars 1313. The trademark for this game was filed last month, on May 7th.
It’s been announced via press release that the game will be shown for the first time at this year’s E3 Expo, which is dated for June 5th-7th.
According to the release, players will assume the role of a “lethal bounty hunter.” It’s also noted that this will be one of the first games to bring together all elements of the Lucasfilm conglomerate, with names such as LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd. and Skywalker Sound all taking part in development.
The game is named after “Level 1313,” a ruthless criminal underground on Coruscant.
“We’re excited to share one of the projects LucasArts has been hard at work developing. Star Wars 1313 dives into a part of the Star Wars mythos that we’ve always known existed, but never had a chance to visit. We are committed to bringing the best gameplay experience and visual fidelity to life and I truly believe the work we are showcasing at E3 will speak for itself,” said Paul Meegan, President at LucasArts.
It's not known what platforms this game will see upon release just yet. However, feel free to speculate in the comments section below!
