A few weeks ago Rockstar offered a free copy of Midnight Club II to anybody who joined their group on Steam. People joined and within minutes became very impatient that they didn't already have their new game. Still, those people can stop foaming at the mouth now because a quick check of their library should show that Midnight Club II has been added.
Contrary to popular opinion, the game works fine on Windows 7, although playing with a keyboard is a bit of a drag. No doubt those who're really behind the idea of playing with a 360 remote and extending the resolution will find some way to do so, Xpadder and some change in the registry or in the installation files perhaps.
Keep your eyes peeled for further details of this sort – I can't help but think that Rockstar have proven this to be a rather successful way of gaining a following on Steam.
