Madden NFL 17 does not release officially until August 23rd, but if you own an Xbox One, you may be able to play it right now.
The full game is playable now on Microsoft’s system through EA Access. You need a subscription ($5/month and $30/year) in order to play, but this gets you access to the full game ahead of launch.
Players have access to the game for a limited time, however. The exact length of the early play period was not mentioned, but according to previous releases, 6 to 10 hours should be the time window.
Madden NFL 17 is 24.84 GB on Xbox One. All of your Madden NFL 17 states and save progress from the early play window will carry through to the full game. EA Access members will also save 10% on the full game, bringing the price down to $54 instead of $60.
In addition, you could score a big prize just for playing. Everyone who installs Madden NFL 17 through EA Access between August 18th and August 22nd, signs up for MUT Rewards, and plays Draft Champions will automatically be entered into a cotest to win tickets to Super Bowl 51.
Full contest rules and regulations can be found on the sweepstakes page.
Madden NFL 17 will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
