The Master Lawyer is back in a new adventure. Capcom is proud to announce that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is coming our way in September. In order to introduce us to the game before then, they’ve uploaded a new trailer showcasing the abilities of the characters.

Phoenix is able to unlock the witness’ hidden truths with his Magatama, while Apollo has a bracelet that can detect when a witness is nervous. Athena Cykes has a Mood Matrix that’s able to decipher a witness’s emotions. Ema Skye is now a full fledged Forensics Investigator. She made appearances in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney as a high school student trying to solve a case about her older sister, and later on become a homicide detective in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (who did her own forensics on the side). But now in a legitimate and official position, Ema Skye is able to help players dust clues and scan for fingerprints. Finally, Rayfa Padma Khura’in can show the last memories of the dead.

Trucy Wright, the adopted daughter of Phoenix, has developed an affinity for magic much like her father Magnifi Gramarye. But when her co-host Mr. Reus dies, Trucy is named the prime suspect. A new character named Bonny de Famme is a rookie magician that is part of Trucy’s magic show, and is a passionate fan of her work. But can she teleport her way to court in order to give a testimony for Trucy’s trial?

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice arrives on September 8th for the Nintendo 3DS. But if you want to try the game out for free, a demo version is coming to the Nintendo eShop on August 25th. Until then, Capcom’s website, Twitter, and Facebook are the place for updates on the game.
