A host of new screenshots (well, four of them to be exact) have just been released by EA and Crytek, revealing some of the game's new environments.
The new screenshots show off what appear to be a mangrove swamp, and a rainforest setting in the concrete jungle of the former New York City. The game's protagonist, Prophet, can be seen perched among the ruins with a futuristic assault rifle in his hand.
In one of the screenshots, a bipedal mech can be seen lumbering across a deserted city street containing only the wreckage of cars and overgrown flora.
In addition to the screenshots, two new pieces of concept art depict Prophet poised to strike, and the city in ruins.
Crysis 3 is set in the dome of New York City overrun by a variety of natural biomes, ranging from swamps to dense forests. It is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013.
