During E3 2016, Microsoft made some big reveals while going through their press conference briefing. For instance, we got to see more of the big name titles set to release in the near future, but also the announcement of two updated consoles for the Xbox One. One of the consoles was a more upgraded system that was only briefly described and given the codename Project Scorpio while the other was a slimmed down Xbox One known as Xbox One S.
Now we’re finding out through leaked images that Microsoft is preparing to release a Xbox One S bundle with the upcoming release of Gears of War 4. These images and statements come from a Twitter account by the name of ekim and while they look pretty official, we still have to label these images and statements as rumors for the time being.
According to the postings made by ekim, the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 bundle comes with a custom 2 TB console paint job along with its controller. Additionally, gamers will find a download code for the Ultimate Edition of Gears of War 4 which comes with a season pass along with the ability to enjoy the game four days of early access.
Apparently, this bundle will set gamers back $449 but if you’re in the market for a Xbox One, then spending a bit more to get a 2 TB Xbox One S with Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition may be well worth the price.
As for when you can pick up Gears of War 4 by itself, the game is set to release on Xbox One and PC this October 11, 2016.
