The Black Death Early Access game on Steam has got a new update.
Beggars have a stronger plague resistance, as they’ve adapted to the harsh conditions of the city streets as they scrounge for money. They can also craft trinkets and decorative items to pawn off as well. The Black Death‘s new bounty system means beggars ought to behave, or else they might find themselves on the sharp end of a blade.
Beyond the additions of Beggars and bounties, the developers also added a new castle fortress to explore, with a hidden cave system running beneath the complex. The Black Death game world also has a weather system, to make exploration more immersive. They also added player titles, allowing you to further distinguish yourself and your achievements to other players.
Only catching The Black Death fever for the first time? Here’s what the game’s about. It’s a roleplaying medieval survival title that takes place during the black death plague era of 14th century Europe (albeit not entirely historically accurate, somewhat fictional in places). You can explore the (sickly) open world full of castles, bandit camps, ports and mines, as you live out the role of a specific profession in order to survive. It’s somewhat of a larger scale multiplayer game, able to support up to 50 players on a server at the moment, although that number should increase as the early access title progresses in development.
