The war in Battlefield 3 never ends, and DICE plans to expand the game's content with the release of Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, a themed DLC containing four highly competitive indoor maps.
To that end, DICE and EA have released a new gameplay trailer from the upcoming expansion pack which showcases the map Donya Fortress. It's highly destructive and is unlike anything we've ever seen in the original game's maps. Also showcased is a new game mode calld Conquest Domination, which is a mix of the classic Conquest mode and the instant action gameplay which feature heavily on the four tight maps that come with the expansion.
In addition to the new maps, players will also gain access to new weapons that they can take back to the base game, as well as new assignments to complete and new dog tags to unlock.
Close Quarters is set for a June 2012 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
