From the game development team known as Mokus, and published by tinyBuild – comes a different kind of RTS experience called BOID.
BOID is an RTS game that’s boiled down to the most basic of elements. There aren’t any resources to manage, or buildings that need to be set up. It’s all about the rush of killing your enemies before they kill you. BOID is all about tactical strategy and using the game’s seven specialized units to take over key positions on the map, pushing forward to victory. According to the press release, BOID is going to have completely free multiplayer (But I didn’t see that option available at the time of writing). So you can go straight into a PVP match-up or up against bots, but additionally you’ll also have the opportunity to create your own levels and broadcast the game easily on Twitch. But gamers who enjoy the singleplayer type of adventure aren’t completely left out, as a full 10-hour campaign is available separately as DLC.
