Sasha Dikiciyan, better known as one half of the videogame music outfit Sonic Mayhem, brought awareness on Twitter to EA's improper crediting of the duo's contributions to the Mass Effect 3 soundtrack.
The musician said despite the fact that the duo had provided the game with over 80 minutes of original score, they were only credited as providing "additional music". As can be seen on the cover art for the Mass Effect 3 soundtrack, the duo did not receive "Composer" credit for the game's compositions, which went instead to Clint Mansell and Sam Hulick.
It should be noted that the well known Mansell only provided two tracks for the game in contrast to Sonic Mayhem's contributions. The two, along with Chris Lennertz are credited as providing "additional music."
Dikiciyan was quick to stress that the fault was not with BioWare, who are "superb people and did nothing but support us."
Update: We've been informed by Dikiciyan's representative that the credits are being corrected. All is well!
