Why play regular drag Skyrim when you can make it look lush and gorgeous? Enter the W.A.T.E.R mod, brought to us via Skyrim Nexus and made by OpticShooter. This mod provides a fantastic cosmetic makeover for the game, as well as new content. The features are as follows:
– Oceans, lakes, rivers, marshes, and creeks each with a unique ebb and flow.
– Rivers that flow in the correct direction for the most part, ocean waves that flow towards the coast.
– Added effects to waterfalls like more foam and splash effects.
– Over 1000 hand-placed additional water effects.
– Foam, rain and water drop ripples replaced with high resolution textures.
– More transparent shorelines during clear weather.
– Reduced excessive splashing of objects in water. (Optional)
– Get wet effect. (Optional)
– New treasure to find.
– Bug fixes and performance tweaks.
In addition to all that, there are also hidden treasure chests, journals, notes and poems to collect in this mod. The latter items are of particular note, as they add +1 to particular skills after being read.
