PES (Pro-Evolution Soccer) 2017 is slated for a September 13th release date for the US and a September 17th release date for the UK. Konami has announced that the previous gen versions will have $20 knocked off their prices, thus bringing the PC/PS3/Xbox 360 versions down to $40, but the newer gen versions, which includes the Xbox One and Playstation 4 will have the expected price point of $60.
Konami has remained mum as to why this price decrease was implemented; but price cuts for previous generation consoles are not uncommon and have occurred before for different franchise releases.
In addition to the price cut, everyone who preorders the game will receive a significant amount of bonus items for MyClub. However, the specific details of these item types are still unclear. Much like other games that Konami has made, PES 2017 will also run on the Fox Engine. This new system’s premise is to enhance both visuals and gameplay in a revolutionary manner. As it stands, the Pro-Evolution soccer franchise is already blazing the trail for the most lifelife soccer gameplay.
