Microsoft is making a sweet deal for anyone planning to pickup a copy of Gears of War 4 before the end of 2016, as they will be able to download the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection. That includes the first Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgement. They will all be playable on the Xbox One through the backward compatibility.
The offer includes both retail and digital purchases. Any purchase made before the end of 2016 will receive a code to download all the Gears games. The code will expire on December 31, 2016 so don’t forget to redeem it before then.
What’s interesting about this is that it’s not a pre-order bonus. The game is coming out on October 11 on the Xbox One and PC, which means that you don’t have to hurry and pick it up now to take advantage of this. If you prefer to wait for the reviews before buying a new game, you still won’t lose out on this bundle.
It is worth mentioning that Gears of War 4 is one of the first Play Anywhere title where you only need to buy it once and you’ll be able to play it on both your PC and Xbox One. Unfortunately, this offer is exclusive for Xbox One gamers and you won’t get any freebies if you’re buying this on PC.
