An interesting job listing at Valve has popped up recently that has a lot of people talking, promising ‘whole new gaming experiences.’
The listing, posted in the jobs section on the Valve website, advertises vacancies for positions that require skills such as "hardware design, prototyping, testing, and production across a wide range of platforms."
They also advertise for an electronics engineer position that involves working “with the hardware team to conceive, design, evaluate, and produce new types of input, output, and platform hardware." Wait, did they say hardware? Sweet baby Jesus, they said hardware!
While this certainly doesn’t confirm any of these Steambox console rumours floating around, it is quite curious. Any new hardware from Valve is bound to be exciting. Maybe ‘hardware’ is code for Half Life…
