It’s not only the consumer-based gamers that are excited about the upcoming Nintendo console release, code-named the Nintendo NX, but the competition is thrilled for its release as well. Recently, Microsoft’s Xbox head, Phil Spencer, has shared his thoughts on the upcoming release of the Nintendo NX and even Nintendo’s exclusive title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
While Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony may all be in competition with one another in terms of console sales and exclusive video game titles, there is a lot of respect shared between key individuals in each company. For instance, Xbox head Phil Spencer was asked on Twitter by a fan about his thoughts on the upcoming Nintendo NX.
@Commander_Keel When @Nintendo launches a new console it’s an exciting time for the industry. And Zelda looked good at E3.

Overall, Phil Spencer seems to be rather thrilled about the upcoming console release and it’s nice to see that even though Phil may be competing with Nintendo for the Xbox One, there’s still plenty of respect shown towards the veteran company.
However, besides his excitement of the upcoming Nintendo NX console release, Phil Spencer even went further to state that he thought The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gameplay footage looked good.
