So get this, apparently there is a story floating around the Chinese internet. How this is even possible, I do not know. Love must be able to get through the Great Firewall’s cold defenses. Joking aside though, the story details a young woman and a young man who are in a relationship. The young man is highly addicted to DotA and has his wife play the domestic role and fetch him sammiches and stuff like that. While she does the work, he sits on his bum playing DotA.
In an effort to get him back from the sinister clutches of gaming addiction, the girlfriend decides to challenge her boyfriend to a match of DotA. If she wins he has to quit DotA forever. Gasp! Allegedly she is currently brushing up on DotA and training so that she can defeat her lover and gain back the man she fell in love with.
It’s not known if this story is true or not but it seems pretty false to me. It sounds like something out of the movies rather than a real life story. Then again, there’s always that slim chance it might be true. If so then train on young woman, train on.
