It’s safe to say Warhammer 40,000 is a franchise in full-swing, as there’s yet another game within that universe coming out. Shown off at E3 2016, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is an upcoming action role-playing game being developed by NeocoreGames.
The main campaign takes you across the Caligari Sector to embark on various missions which you can access via a star map. Sometimes these quests are one-offs, but often they may lead to subsequent missions in a bigger story-line arc. The game itself has many of the things that standard RPGs are known for. Leveling up and loot systems aplenty. But to recreate the feeling of being in a war-zone, enemy AI are intelligent. They have leaders coordinate attacks, tactical soldiers flanking you from both sides, down to having snipers roost off in the distance, ready to strike. The environment is destructible, leaving a sense of power to your battles. There will be a sort of PvP mode, when it comes to your Inquisitorial Fortress. You’ll be able to build up your own headquarters with improvements and customization, but you need to protect it from enemy factions.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr comes out 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To stay up to date with the game, check out their Twitter, Facebook, and Website for all the latest news.
