Remedy Kicks off Huge Hiring Wave for Next Gen Project

March 22, 2012 by Josh Harmon

The title’s a mystery, but it could be the long-rumored Alan Wake 2 for the next Xbox.

Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment has announced that they'll soon begin a sizeable hiring wave as they ramp up work on a project for next gen consoles.

According to a notice posted to the company's jobs page, they'll begin accepting applications for more than 20 new positions by the end of the month.

"Remedy Entertainment is looking for world-class talent to work on an unannounced project targeted at future generation consoles," the listing reads. "More than 20 new positions will become available within the next few months. The first batch of positions will go live as soon as Friday 30th of March."

This isn't the first time Remedy has posted job openings for their mysteryious next-gen project, but it's certainly the largest in scope.

Earlier rumors claimed the developer is working on a sequel to Alan Wake for Microsoft's next-gen console, making it the most likely culprit behind this new hiring wave.
