According to a press release that was sent earlier today, we’re getting word that Riders of Icarus, an MMORPG from Nexon America, will soon be entering its final closed beta test. However, during the upcoming open beta launch, players will have access to Founder’s Packs for a limited amount of time.
We recently got a tour of Riders of Icarus from the folks over at Nexon America and we’ve given our first impressions of the game right here. Overall, the game is centered around taming and riding mythical beasts into battle.
For now, the video game will be going through one more closed beta test that will run until June 7, 2016. From there, the game will enter the Head Start which begins on June 29, 2016, with the open beta following on July 6, 2016.
Upon the open beta launch, Nexon America will be holding a five-day attendance event which will give the community of players access to exclusive Heroic and Legendary items from the Founder’s Packs, though only for a limited amount of time.
Here is how the five-day event will play out.
- Day 1: Diamond Wolf (exclusive ground mount; incl. in Heroic and Legendary Riders’ Packs)
- Day 2: ChaCha the Cat Shoulder Accessory (provides 10% physical attack and magic attack at 3% for 10 seconds, maximum health increased by 500 HP and cast time reduced by 5%; Legendary Riders Pack)
- Day 3: Karios (exclusive dragon air mount; Legendary Pack)
- Day 4: Onyx Order Outfit (changes the look of your character to that of a member of the Onyx Order; Legendary Pack)
- Day 5: Weapon Skin (changes the look of your equipped weapon; Legendary Pack)
