Assassin’s Creed 4: Oh Where Will You Take Us?

March 21, 2012 by Andrew Kent

Assassin’s Creed 4 can go wherever and whenever it pleases!

Where do you think Assassin’s Creed 4 will be located? Maybe the Industrial Revolution? One of the World Wars? What if the next Assassin’s Creed went back further than Altair’s quest? Francois Pelland, producer at Ubisoft, says that the next game can be wherever it wants to be.

When talking to Metro at a preview event for AC III, Pelland mentioned this when asked about where the next game could go: “It’s a question we’ve been getting a lot. It’s not a moving forward thing, it’s all based on lineage and on DNA and therefore it has nothing to do with time. The next game could easily go backwards as much as forward, no problem.”

So we could actually probably see instead of an Industrial Revolution Assassin’s Creed next, quite possibly we might see something in between 1 and 2, or something directly after or before 3. Wait, what about giving Connor a sequel, the next game may still be in Revolutionary War times? They gave that Ezio guy like fifty games, I think Connor at least deserves one more.
