With the yearly video game expo coming June 14th, the official E3 website is making the final preparations for the big show. According to a vigilant NeoGAF user, some of the game developer category listings indicate what to expect includes Xbox One and Virtual Reality being featured.
The NeoGAF thread lists four different video game companies that have the “Virtual Reality > Xbox One” label. Rebellion, Maximum Games, Readily Information Company, and 3D Rudder each make a specific note of including that Xbox One VR category to their list.
A few days ago, Ars Technica wrote an article confirming that an unnamed major European game studio was working on an Xbox One VR game for 2017. They couldn’t name the developer, but they were able to say it was a VR title set in an already well established video game franchise’s universe.
That is not the only thing Microsoft is slated to have up it’s sleeve for the future of their console. Last week, there were reports that a new Xbox One model were in the pipeline. The smaller model will have a bigger hard drive, but also with a powerful GPU alongside Oculus Rift support and 4K resolution, is possibly going to release in 2017.
