Nintendo has announced Virtual Boy’s launch details for Switch Online, and they’ve included some surprises.

The system is launching on Switch Online + Expansion pack on February 17, and it will be playable on both Switch and Switch 2. It’s launching with seven games:
- Teleroboxer
- Galactic Pinball
- RED ALARM
- GOLF
- Virtual Boy Wario Land
- 3-D TETRIS
- The Mansion of Innsmouth
Incredibly, Nintendo also revealed two more games coming later this year that Nintendo didn’t get to release all those years back.
Dragon Hopper, renamed as D-Hopper, is a top-down platformer where you can jump across floating platforms. Zero Racers was a lost F-Zero game that would have been the first 3D game in the franchise.
As Nintendo explained in their original press release, Virtual Boy is launching on US and Canada only. There’s still some vagueness if they can be played without a Virtual Boy accessory, but the games have only been shown in the trailers in 2D so far.
