Microsoft has dropped a bomb of a teaser for a ‘game ending in 6.’
They just announced this year’s Xbox Developer Direct. After a fan tweeted that they were more excited for Forza Horizon 6 than even Grand Theft Auto 6, the Xbox account made this reply:
Big year for games ending in 6, though.
Is Microsoft Really Teasing The Elder Scrolls 6?
Some fans speculated that Microsoft is just reminding fans that Grand Theft Auto 6 will also be on Xbox. Jason Schreier recently claimed that Rockstar’s games is ‘practically a PS6 exclusive’, and they just wanted to push back on that narrative.
But it just so happens that Bethesda is also hard at work on The Elder Scrolls 6. We know that Bethesda started formal production in 2023, and they’re still supporting Starfield.
But Bethesda could absolutely be showing us a preview for the game, if not in the Xbox Developer Direct, sometime this year. We’ll have to wait and see if there’s more to this than just a random response.
