Rockstar has unfortunately confirmed that Grand Theft Auto Online still has a serious bug after A Safehouse in the Hills.

While A Safehouse in the Hills brought a lot of content that the fans really wanted, the bugs that emerged turned out to really ruin the game for players.
Rockstar just published Title Update 1.72 to address as many of those issues as possible. Unfortunately, the community confirmed that some players were still dealing with what is potentially a game-breaking bug.
This issue is that vehicles that were customized in the Mansion Garage could lose all those customizations. Other players also lost their vehicles and game progress, so it’s worrisome that these have not all been addressed yet.
We’re still not sure if all these issues are all connected to each other or not, or if some combination of them are connected. But we know this issue with the Mansion Garage still remains.
The Confirmation
Harryodini58 shared the communications between Rockstar Support and one of the players who probed about this issue. We’ll share key excerpts below.
Player Message
Dear Rockstar Support,
What I don’t know if the issue with missing Liveries and upgrades (HSW) is patched too? As I mentioned I missed some upgrades as many other players, this question about the mansions would be very important at least for me!
So I know it’s not a big disaster, but it annoys the experience of the game and the new mansions and I really enjoyed/still enjoy a lot of time with the game and if you have any further information about this symptom it would be nice!

The Mansion Garage Bug Is Worrisome Even On Its Own
If the Mansion Garage bug is isolated from the other issues, it can still be worrisome on its own.
Rockstar claimed that they had fixed this issue in Title Update 1.72, but players who lost their customizations have to ‘re-purchase and reapply’ them.
Rockstar was not clear if players would get their money back to re-purchase these customizations, and that’s when this issue shifts from being annoying to serious.
As Harryodini58 explained on Twitter, vehicles customizations can be expensive. For example, Hao’s Special Works customs can cost as much as GTA$ 29,748,500 if you apply it on all vehicles that can use them.
We’re just going to have to wait for Rockstar to confirm when this issue is resolved. Hopefully, they can just revert everything back to where they originally where.
