Yo-Kai Watch Comes To Final Fantasy XIV This Summer

And Chocobo and Moogle are set to appear in Yo-Kai Watch 3DS games.

Square Enix has announced a partnership with Level-5 which will see characters from Yo-Kai Watch join Final Fantasy XIV for a limited time this summer.

13 Yo-kai from Yo-Kai Watch will feature as part of the collaboration, including Jibanyan and Whisper. Players will also have the opportunity to earn special quest rewards, with original Yo-kai themed weapons, mounts, and minions all featuring.

Due to the partnership, Final Fantasy’s Chocobo and Moogle will appear as “Chocobonyan” and “Mooglenyan” in Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sushi and Yo-Kai Watch 3: Tempura which will launch in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

Additional details about the partnership will be announced in the months to come.
