Play have managed to accidentally reveal a set of four exciting new Vita titles that we probably couldn't have seen coming (if the announce had taken place when it was supposed to). The entries have since been removed, but were earlier available for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Monster Hunter Portable 3 and Tales of Innocence R.
Rather interesting is the idea that we'll be getting Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Monster Hunter Portable 3 in the near future. Both are games that interested people in the west but didn't necessarily make it to all territories, and the idea of getting some sort of "ultimate" edition with trophies and improved graphics is going to be something that a lot of people go for. Hopefully, they manage to get these out fairly quickly, they'd be ideal to tide us over before "proper" Vita games become a weekly thing.
Most exciting, however, is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights. While it isn't the Grand Theft Auto Vita we reported on a couple of weeks ago, I think it's impossible to complain too much, and a return to Vice City is long, long overdue. I think it speaks to the power of the Vita that this generation's "Vice City" is going to be on a handheld device, probably while people relive San Andreas on their PS3.
Sony have previously said that there will be some new game announcements on Friday this week, so hopefully some of these will be on that list and we'll get a little more information – specifically release dates.
