Update:
Here’s what fans uncovered about this mystery announcement.
Original Story…
There has been some chatter recently online about Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar Games has released a couple of successful installments under this banner, and for most of us, it’s been a little dormant. We’ve seen countless posts online begging Rockstar Games to give a next-gen update to Red Dead Redemption 2. Now, it seems like the studio has something up their sleeves.
It started with the actor who portrayed the iconic outlaw, John Marston. Rob Wiethoff was streaming the game series when he stopped to tease an announcement. Unfortunately, that was all that we got. Rob was only hyping up the excitement over the news he had and would like to share with players. However, as it stands right now, the news he’s heard doesn’t have a specific reveal date.
Instead, it was noted that we should hear the news before this Friday. Now, it looks like a couple more actors are getting involved with this tease. Thanks to Reddit, we’re learning that the actors who portrayed the characters Charles and Arthur are confirming they, too, are aware of the news Rob is teasing.
Again, there’s nothing here quite yet to confirm what is coming our way. We could finally see an announcement regarding a next-gen update for Red Dead Redemption 2. Meanwhile, others might be hopeful about some news regarding the game heading to the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
At the very least, it appears that we’re on track to see the news hit the public at some point this week. The news may finally emerge today. In this case, we’ll keep an eye out and update this post to alert you of what Rockstar Games opted to reveal. For now, all we can do is wait and continue to speculate.
